This is a stainless steel Oil Drain Plug with an integrated magnet, designed as a stronger upgrade over the OEM plug. A magnetic drain plug is essential for your transmission and transfer case, as it traps fine metal particles before they can circulate in the oil and cause damage to your synchros or gears.
 
The plug is also slightly longer than OEM, which is especially useful if your original threads are worn or stripped. The extended length allows it to reach the inner threads that usually remain intact, giving you a secure fit and added peace of mind.
