Hello everyone! We have decided to share some information about the AEM Uego-X Wideband CAN setup on our newly installed Link G4X. You will need a CANJST connector to be able to wire your AEM unit to the Link ECU. You will have to connect the CAN High and CAN Low wires of the CANJST connector to the AEM UEGO cables. On the CANJST they are Green for CAN Low and White for CAN High. On the AEM they are White/Black for CAN High and Green/Black for CAN Low. Another thing worth mentioning is that you will have to put a 120Ohm terminating resistor near the end of the CAN cable, where it connects to the AEM gauge. The Link ECU has a built-in terminating resistor on its end. Here are two pictures of the terminating resistor that we have added: Note that you have to add it between the CAN High and CAN Low wires which in the case of this AEM are White/Black and Green/Black. Here is a simple diagram to make things clearer: Once you have this done it's time to setup the CAN protocols in PC Link. First go to CAN/CAN Setup and press on the little wrench button on top right: A CAN setup page will display. Link has 2 CAN modules CAN1/CAN2. This choice will depend solely on which module you have connected the cable to. For mode, use "User Defined" and set the Bit Rate to "500kb/s" Now press on the first channel and select "Receive User Stream 1" from the dropdown menu on Mode. Set the CAN ID to 384 if your AEM gauge is set to channel ID1. If your AEM gauge is set to channel ID2 set the CAN ID to 385 and so on. Set the format to "Extended" Now you're done on this page. Press "Streams" on the top Menu. Select Stream 1 or any unused Stream and press "Add Frame". Once you added the new Frame add a Parameter. After you press "Add" on Parameters, you will see a new window with search bar on top. Type "Lambda" and you will see some options. Select the Lambda channel you want to associate with the AEM. In our case, this was "Lambda 1" Copy the settings for "Lambda 1" from the image below, but have in mind that the divider may be different for your unit. We recommend starting from 1/10/100/1000/10000 etc. In our case it was 10000. Don't forget to press "Apply" after you are done and then press "Ok" to close the window. Link will inform you to store your new settings to the ECU. You can do that by pressing CTRL+S. Now you have to navigate to "Analog Inputs" and select "Lambda 1" or whichever "Lambda" channel you have used in the previous steps. Double click on "Lambda Sensor Control" and from the drop down menu select "Link CAN" To view your newly installed AFR in realtime, you can add a new gauge to your interface. This is simply done with a righclick on the the screen - "New View" - "Digital Gauge" or "Dial Gauge". After you select either of this, a Pop-up window will occure. Type "Lambda" in the searchbar and select whichever Lambda channel you are using. If your Lambda is showing very large numbers, you should increase the Divider in the CAN Setup Menu, under Streams. This is it! Now you can enjoy a realtime readings of your AFR directly in the PC Link software!
